Tharoor makes Ghalib gaffe, gets tutored by Javed Akhtar

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor made a double gaffe on Twitter on Saturday when he wrongly attributed some lines to famous Urdu poet Mirza Ghalib on what he thought was the master’s 220th birthday. But lyricist Javed Akhtar was quick to spot another mistake and pointed out to Tharoor that the lines that he had quoted weren’t by Ghalib either.
